What do we do?
Onatti writes and produces language plays in French, Spanish and German aimed at different levels and age groups.
Then we pack the scenery, props, costumes and two actors into a van, give them a SatNav and a packet of sweets, and send them off to perform in schools throughout the UK. Since 2001 Onatti has grown to become a highly praised and much recommended resource for MFL teachers.
Why are we different?
We know that writing and devising a play in a foreign language, for teenagers and young children to watch, requires understanding of the target audience. Onatti produces entertaining "modern" plays. All our plays contain current topics and themes pitched at the correct language level with emphasis on accessibility for all without being patronising or intimidating.
Students should come away from an Onatti production with more confidence in their language ability.
Onatti's plays are modern, accessible and often extremely hilarious!
