To book a performance you can e-mail us or telephone us 01926 495220.

This is for UK & ROI secondary schools.

To book a performance all we need is:

  • Your name, school name and address or Reference number found on any mailouts from us.
  • Date of performance
  • Performance start time*

    *Please note.
The actors perform at two schools per day and can perform anytime of day or evening apart from lunch time 11:45-1:15. This time is used to travel from one school to the next. Please try to avoid a midday start time.

    Cost (2009 - 2010)
One Performance = £330+vat (*£379.50) for UK Schools from September 2008. €500 for ROI Schools.
    Two Performances = £310+vat each
    Three Performances = £290+vat each
    Four Performances = £280+vat each
*(The 15% rate will remain until 31st December 2009, and from 1 January 2010 it will revert to 17.5%)
No payment until after the performance.

    Do we require a deposit?
    No.

When are the plays in my area?
The plays tour throughout the UK and we split the country into Postcode areas.
Please contact us by telephone or e-mail and we'll give you the exact dates when the plays are in your area.
The plays tour separatly so it is not always possible to have two different language plays on the same day.

    Cancellation?
We implement a cancellation fee of £180+vat if you cancel less than five weeks before the performance date as we really can't slot in another school within this time.

    Do we limit audience numbers?
    No.

What will I get once I have booked?
When you have confirmed the date with us you will receive a confirmation letter in the post.
Before the play you will receive posters and a vocabulary list.

What will happen on the performance day?
The actors will arrive approximately one hour before the start time.
They will set up in your chosen hall/studio/theatre/room. Because of the amount of set and props etc. it is very useful if they can drive the van as close as possible.
They will need to know the audience size, where the plug socket is and where the staff toilets are! A coffee will always be appreciated! (if your hall is upstairs give them a large coffee and a biscuit!)
They will take 30 minutes to pack up after the performance.

    After the play
If the actors have time they will chat to the students, in their native language of course!

    Cast.
Two actors. They also set the scenery - in fact they do everything.

What do we need schools to provide?
Just a plug socket. Oh, and an audience!

    Staging?
They don't tour their own staging so can they perform on yours? (if you have one) Maybe you have a drama studio with raised seating!
If you have no stage or raised seating this is not a problem, but if you have a large audience it would be better if some of them sit on the floor.

    Block or portable staging?
They have had bad experiences with portable and block staging and would prefer not to perform on them, if you are in doubt just telephone us.

    What about lights?
They do not tour lights. They are time consuming to put up and add an extra risk factor. If your school hall, stage or studio has lights that can be turned on then they would be very grateful - if not then normal hall lighting will be fine.

    IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THIS!
Please note the actors, although very talented, are human beings and could become unwell.
They do not have a spare set of actors constantly shadowing the main actors.
So please be fully aware that if one of the actors is suddenly struck by illness or injury your booking may be cancelled - at short notice - even the morning of the actual day!
They are usually blessed with excellent bug-fighting actors and I can assure you our actors will need to be very ill to cancel. But, if this were to happen, we will bend over backwards to re-schedule the visit.
