THIS PLAY HAS NOW FINISHED TOURING.
New play touring from September 08

Written for a teenage audience.

Katharina is a happy teenager. She lives with her mum, does well at school and has now been going out with her new boyfriend Nikolaus for four weeks, three days and six hours.

It's been a long time since her dad left but finally her mum too has found a new partner. His name is Gunter and he also has a daughter from his previous marriage. Her name is Sonja and she's about the same age as Katharina.

Secretly Katharina's always wanted a sister, someone to borrow clothes from, someone to talk to about boys - cool!

But when her mum tells her Sonja will be visiting this weekend, staying over night and sharing her room, Katharina's excitement turns to nervous anticipation. What will she be like? Will they like the same things? Can she braid hair? What if Nikolaus likes Sonja more than her?

The anticipation is unbearable for Katharina as at any moment her bedroom door will open revealing her potential step-sister.
Will she be a great new friend or an evil monster?

Who is this play aimed at?

Details
This play, as with all our language plays, is performed by two actors, this one is performed by two females. The set up takes 30 minutes. The play lasts 50 minutes.
Our main concern is that all the students watching can see the performances, so where possible we prefer to perform on a stage or in a studio with raised seating. If you do not have a stage and there will be a large audience can some of them sit on the floor.
