Nothing to wear! is a very amusing play about two teenagers, Jason and Lucy, preparing for their first date together. The stage is divided into two halves so the audience can watch both teenagers as they prepare for this important evening. They both have just one hour to get ready, dress and compose themselves. What should I wear? What should I say? Were will we go? Lucy is annoyed by her lack of nice clothes and panics about her hair, her shoes, her spots! Jason chooses this moment to have his first shave and too is unsure about what to wear and should he take his skateboard or not! During their preparation both Lucy and Jason experience a roller-coaster of emotions; stress, apprehension, fear, excitement, hysteria! This play is completely in English and is performed by English speaking actors. The topic and vocabulary is pitched at the correct level for teenagers learning English. Watching this play will give any student studying English a great boost! Nothing to wear was first written as a piece of theatre for teenagers who are learning English as a foreign language.
