To book a performance you can e-mail us or telephone us 01926 495220.

This information is for UK Primary schools booking Parlez-vous français?.

To book a performance all we need is:

  • Your name, school name and address or Reference number found on any mailouts from us to your school.
  • Date of performance
  • Performance start time*

    *Please note.
We perform at two schools per day and can perform anytime of day or evening apart from lunch time 11:45-1:15. This time is used to travel from one school to the next. Please try to avoid a midday start time.

    Cost (2008 - 2009)
£330+vat (£387.75) for UK Schools from September 2008.
    €460 for ROI Schools.
    Payable after the performance.
Discounts for more than one booking by one school.

    Cast.
Two actors who also set everything up.

    IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THIS!
Please note our actors, although very talented, are human being - normally!
We do not have a spare set of actors constantly shadowing the main actors.
So please be fully aware that if one of our actors is suddenly struck by illness or injury your booking may be cancelled - at short notice - even the morning of the actual day!
We are usually blessed with excellent bug-fighting actors and I can assure you our actors will need to be very ill to cancel. But, if this were to happen, we will bend over backwards to re-schedule the visit.

What does onatti need schools to provide?
Just a plug socket. Oh, and an audience!

    Staging?
We would need to set up and perform in your schools hall or gym. If you have a stage and we can perform on it that would be perfect. We need approximately 5meters by 5 meters for the set and the performance area.

    What about lights?
We do not tour lights. They are time consuming to put up and add an extra risk factor. If your school hall, stage or studio has lights that can be used then we would be very grateful - if not then normal hall lighting will be fine.

What will I get once I have booked?
When you have confirmed the date with us you will receive a confirmation letter in the post. All the information you need is detailed on this letter. Please read all points, sign one copy and return it to us along with any directions, maps or useful information.
With your confirmation letter, you will receive posters and a vocabulary list.

    Do you require a deposit?
    No.

    Cancellation?
We implement a cancellation fee if you cancel less than five weeks before the performance date.

    Do you limit audience numbers?
    No.

What will happen on the performance day?
The actors will arrive approximately one hour before the start time.
They will set up in your chosen hall/studio/theatre/room. Because of the amount of set and props etc. it is very useful if they can drive the van as close as possible.
They will need to know the audience size, where the plug socket is and where the staff toilets are! A coffee will always be appreciated! (if your hall is upstairs give them a large coffee and a biscuit!) They will take 30 minutes to pack up.

If the actors have time they will chat to the students, in their native language of course!
